  1. I know that Nick Wallenda walks across Niagara Fall from the American side to the Canadian side. The Wallendas level of perseverance was huge, Even after they lost 4 members and one was paralyzed. They said they would keep going to keep the tradition.

  2. When I remember hearing on the news that a man was crossing the Niagra Falls on a tightrope, I was shocked. I've been to the falls plenty of times, and I've seen how powerful they are. I thought that if he fell and submerged into the violent water, there would be no return.

During the video, it said that even though that 2 people had died and one was paralyzed last time they tried their 7-person pyramind, 'It was something they had to do.' It got me thinking that maybe walking across the Falls is something he 'Has to do.'

  4. Hello! This is amazing! In one part of the video it looks like there is little kids our ages on the wire doing stuff that we couldn't even do. Last night I remember hearing about the man crossing the Niagara Falls on this TV show that my parents watched. I remember in a museum in Niagara Falls there was a man that cooked an omelet half way through the act. when they ride a bicycle, I think that would take tons of practice to make sure you are lined up with the wire and keeping yourself balanced.

  5. This is a good video on how it explains their background and stuff. although it's sad when they explain on how 2 people died from the tightrope.
I can't imagine me doing the 7 person pyramid it's scary to be 20 feet high with no net/harnesses.

  6. WOW! That is so crazy! I would be terrified if I were them. The risk that they take is terrifying! My palms were sweating as I was watching them do the seven person pyramid. That video is amazing!

  7. I remember hearing that a man was going to cross Niagara falls but I didn't know that his whole family were tightrope walkers.

The flying Wallendas are cool and the 7-person pyramid, that is hard to do because you need to have perfect balance to do it.If you make 1 mistake you could all die.

I'm totally watching Nick Wallenda cross Niagara falls tonight, or just watch the highlights.

  8. wow it looks really hard to do that. how do they do it, and at the end of the seven person pyramid I was thinking how the heck are they going to get everyone off of that with only that much room to spare. it is really mind boggling. they really must be passionate.

  9. It is so cool! They make it look so easy! I think I've heard of something about a man holding a washing machine on a tightrope...I think on the news? When they said to the audience that they could not talk, could not talk or clap because the actors had to hear their commands to each other, I was surprised. I didn't know that they commanded each other.

    Hears a brain teaser.
The music stopped. She died. What happened?
Hint: It has to do with tightropes.

  11. I really liked how they cooperative together so well. You can tell they can trust eachother and are a happy family. The 7 person pyramid made my day. It was dazzling with excitment.

  12. its amazing how the family can balance seven people on a little wire at the SAME time. Also, some one actually rode a bike on the wire. I heard that there was a little nine year old boy and I cant believe he has that balance. I think it is outstanding that the family can do that even though they know one slip and they could all die, its even worse because they have had that happen and somebody does die.

    2. The one that Nik Wallenda used was 2 inches so I think they used the same wire as the one in this video

  13. Hey that was probably the most amazing thing i have ever seen considering that they had no protection what so ever. when they did the 7 person pyramid and I think everyone was either hurt or they died I felt really bad for them and when I was watching them walk across I was thinking "oh no one of them is going to fall especially when the top girl was attempting to stand up on the chair and I saw it wobble I wanted to scream but she did it, they did it it was mind- blowing!!!!!!! :o

  14. I know that one of the Wallenda family members is crossing the Niagara falls on a tight rope today for the first time in a century. I understand why the governments want him to wear a safety harness but I still don't understand why he wanted to do it without a harness. I know it's a family tradition but still it's mind boggling.

  15. I think that the work put into this would've taken 10 years of practise. It is amazing how the guy stood up on the bike on the tightrope. Also it is sad how a guy got paralysed and 2 died.
