"The difficult is what takes a little time; the impossible is what takes a little longer," said Fridjof Nansen, the 1922 Nobel Peace Prize winner who personally organized the repatriation of more than four hundred thousand prisoners of war after World War I and helped save millions of Russians from starvation.
What is it about this video that spoke to you the most?
For me it was the power of the message delivered without one spoken word. It reinforced the power of visuals as a form of expression and communication. I know they say a picture is worth a thousand words ... but it is so true, especially when you add moving pictures and music. It is a powerful form of communication. Every time I watch the video, I see something new or in a different way.
The fact that all the photographs were taken with a cell phone makes me think that with the advances in technology and it being available to almost everyone, anyone has the potential to create wonderful art ... like this video.
When you look into the homeless man's eyes, you can see the faith, the hope he has in you that you will help him. And when people turn away, that hope, that small spark dies; it's smothered by another step towards death. PS. I'm going to make up a password and say I posted it under that name. Guess who?(THIRD TIME)
the movie spoke to me and said to not walk away from people just because they may look diferent. that we all need the same things like love and attention.
I really like this video..
