"The difficult is what takes a little time; the impossible is what takes a little longer," said Fridjof Nansen, the 1922 Nobel Peace Prize winner who personally organized the repatriation of more than four hundred thousand prisoners of war after World War I and helped save millions of Russians from starvation.

Political Commercial #2
Here is another style of commercial for us to examine. What do you notice about this commercial? In your opinion, what techniques are employed to create a positive impact on the viewer?
He started off admitting that he wasn't that good and I think the objective was for us to feel sad for him and vote for him. He never really tried to smear anyone or to make himself look better than others, he simply talked about all his achievements.
In this commercial Dalton McGuinty has a white background to make him seem friendly. He talks about David Suzuki about them being an example to the world. Also it seems that they have listed almost the best things about them and only that. I think that to make it better, they could have shown videos of Dalton McGuinty talking to people instead of just standing there to make him look even more friendly.
