Provincial Election Commercials
Think about the media techniques used by the creator of this commercial. Who created the commercial? What is the purpose of the commercial? How are things like visuals,sound and text used to help create the overall message?
The PC party makes the video to make people not want to vote for Dalton McGuinty because they make alot of dark settings for Dalton McGuinty. They find the bright side of Tim Hudak by using happy thoughts for Tim Hudak leaving the viewers to look down on Dalton McGuinty.
I think that the Media wants to blackmail Dulton so that people who don't wan't thier taxes raised decide,'Well,I don't want to lose more money,so this video tells me I shouldn't vote for Dulton.'How do they convince people of this?First,they showed the most cold,unwelcoming photo of Dulton,thus showing how mean and grumpy he was.Seconed,they made Tim sound so much kinder by the shots of him talking to familys,smiling and just being plain nice.That made ME prefer Tim over Dulton,so I think the media did a good job.
the pc made this add very strongly. They made people vote for Tim Hudak by finding the most revolting picture of Dalton mcGuinty and put in a black back drop. There was no music and it was a still picture but when it came to Tim Hudak there was very nice music and he was always with other people. He also promised to lower our taxs were as they said Dalton just raised them.
Hello, Tim Hudak was trying to make people vote for him and not vote Dalton "Tax Man" McGuinty by making the part of the video about Dalton Mcguinty dark, evil and mean. On the other hand Tim Hudak was all bright and happy. Iwould vote for Tim Hudak because he was nice.
We think that Tim Hudak is tring to discourage people in Ontario to vote for the tax man Dalton McGuinty. The main idea of this video is that the libral Party is tring to build up the taxes.
they take the absoulute worst pictures and sounds to dalton mcguinty they also gave dalton mcguinty mean nick names and also listed every thing that is bad about him. then they showed the best pictures for tim hudak AND THEY GAVE HIM A FRIENDLY NARORAtor voice and gave him video and nice pictures and showed him talking at peoples doors and just made him look freindly. they also did'nt give him much time they just cut to the chase. adrin and ethan
The pc party put that video in circulation to bring people to think that DALTON "MCGUILTY" is raising the taxes and its, the people make it all dark an have a bad picture of him. There kind of peaving the liberal party. making them seem really bad with dark music but when tim hudak comes on the music is all light an the show him in the best of light. with families making them happier and that stuff and show him doing good stuff and bringing joy
What I think about the PC commercial against Dalton Mcguinty is that the PC party has presented themselves as a nice party, as for Dalton Mcguinty they made him look bad. The PC got a bad picture of Dalton, zoomed in on the picture to make it look odd and the picture had a black backround to make Dalton look sort of evil. Then after the bad picture it made Tim Hudak look really nice. Tim was in several small clips with families and helping people out. During the video of Tim Hudak there was a lot of colour. I think the Liberal's really beat down on Dalton Mcguinty in this comercial. Gemini01
